About the company

They are a fast-growing company with an AI-native solution for businesses, one that operates across the entire organisation to assist various workflows. Their software engineering team is fully remote, so you will need to be comfortable working remotely. The team is growing and each engineer is considered a Product Engineer, where they own their own builds and operate with a great deal of autonomy. These Product Engineers work in Pods of 2 or 3, with a Tech Leader for each Pod. They are looking for a number of Senior Software Engineers (AKA Product Engineers) to help with the scale they are facing due to high customer demand.

About you

You will be a Senior Software Engineer or Product Engineer with experience operating in unstructured environments - or at least comfortable to join an early stage team if you do not have that experience already. You will have experience working on real products and features that land in the hands of the user, and you must be customer-obsessed. They are particularly interested in smart and kind Software Engineers who are technology agnostic and more interested in problem solving regardless of the means to get there.

The requirements

1. Comfortable working in unstructured environments
2. Comfortable working remotely
3. Self-sufficient and accountable for your work work
4. Deep interest in technology at large, particularly AI and software engineering trends
5. Likely to be strong on TypeScript and with Claude Code
6. Likely to have a strong CS program or CS-adjacent, including STEM

The stack

The team is open to Senior Software Engineers coming from difference technology backgrounds in terms of languages, but for those interested, here is their core stack:

• TypeScript (ideally you have this)
• Next, React, Tailwind, PostgreSQL
• GCP

The team are also interested in hiring a Tech Lead, to lead one of the Pods of Product Engineers. If you are interested in that then you can mark it in this application. The Tech Lead role will also be remote and will offer a slight increase in salary. You will have some leadership experience in addition to the outline of the role above - i.e. Senior Software Engineering (Product Engineering) experience.
