Job Description

Posted on: September 16, 2026

Seasoft Identity (formerly Tello IAM) is our identity and access management SaaS platform, automating user lifecycle management and governance — from provisioning on day one, to periodic access reviews, to deprovisioning when someone leaves. None of these are easy for IT and security teams to manage, especially across a sprawling stack of SaaS apps and internal systems. We save countless headaches by simplifying these workflows through user-centric design.

Seasoft Solutions is backed by Seasoft, whose products are licensed by 90% of the Fortune 500. We’re building the modern IAM platform we think the industry has needed for a long time.

The Role

We’re looking for a full-stack product engineer to help us ship steadily, reliably, and with care.

This is a hands-on, delivery-oriented role. Most of your time will be spent working through a backlog of feature requests and bug fixes across the Seasoft Identity platform: scoping the work, writing the code, gathering feedback, iterating, and getting it into production. The features tend to be small to medium in size, the kind of work where momentum, consistency, and pragmatism are paramount. You’ll own tasks end-to-end, from the React frontend through the Node/NestJS backend and into the database layer. We use AI tooling throughout our development process, and we expect you to be comfortable doing the same.

As you build context and trust, you’ll take on larger projects and have real input into how the product and platform evolve. We want someone who’s happy doing focused, practical work today but is growing toward tackling larger problems.

We’re a small team, and you’ll work directly with a CTO who’s built and scaled products across multiple companies. That means real code review from someone with deep context, honest technical conversations, and a short path between doing good work and taking on more responsibility. We work at a pace that’s sustainable and deliberate, favoring strong, predictable output over raw burst-rate potential.

Your Skillset

We’re looking for someone who can pick up a ticket, ask the right clarifying questions, and ship clean, working code without a lot of hand-holding. Specifically:

  • 3+ years of experience building production web applications with React and Node.js.
  • Experience building and shipping customer-facing products.
  • Meaningful, day-to-day experience with AI-assisted development. It’s a core part of how you work, not something you’re still experimenting with.
  • Comfort working with relational databases, writing queries, and data modeling in Postgres.
  • The ability to move between frontend and backend work without a strong preference for either side. You can deliver features end-to-end.
  • Good judgment about when to ask for help, when to push back on a spec, and when to just get it done.
  • A habit of testing your own work thoroughly and reviewing your own PRs before asking others to look. You don’t rely on QA or code review to catch things you could have caught yourself.
  • Solid debugging instincts. You’re good at gathering data, generating more when you need it, and following your nose to track down the root cause rather than patching symptoms.
  • Natural curiosity about how things work. You dig into unfamiliar parts of the codebase to understand them, not just the areas you’ve been assigned. You read PRs to stay current on changes and leave thoughtful comments when you have something useful to add.
  • Strong async communication skills. We prioritize asynchronous work, so writing clearly and proactively matters.

What Sets You Apart

You don’t need all of these, but our best-fit candidates bring multiple:

  • Prior experience with the following: NestJS, NextJS, Redis/Valkey, AWS backend services.
  • Experience integrating third-party APIs (any flavor), webhooks, and/or identity protocols (such as SCIM, SAML, OIDC, LDAP).
  • Experience building multi-tenant SaaS applications.
  • Experience working on small engineering teams, whether at a startup or on a small team inside a larger company.
  • Experience with security-related products, the identity and access domain, and/or software for regulated industries (such as healthcare, financial services, or government).

Location & Logistics

  • Fully remote within the US. The role requires domestic travel for up to two in-person team meetings per year.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas, now or in the future.
