Senior Software Engineer – Advanced Frontend/AI - Remote & Full time ONLY FREELANCE PIVA NO ASSUNZIONI
Responsibilities:
• Build fast, stable, testable, and reliable front-end and back-end solutions using modern JavaScript technologies for desktop and mobile browsers
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and your team to build interactive features
• Improve the overall quality, performance, and stability of the codebase
• Participate in Code Reviews where you will be giving and receiving feedback
• Be part of support teams and perform root cause analysis
• Work with a group of developers of various experience levels Your profile:
• 6+ years of relevant professional experience
• Advanced understanding of JavaScript/Typescript (preferably in a Next.js, React/React native context), Java, nodejs
• Deep understanding of Design Patterns and different programming paradigms, in particular: object-oriented and functional programming.
• Experience with build and dependency management tools
• Ability to write responsive / fluid website using HTML (5) and CSS (3)
• Understanding of browser resource management
• Working knowledge of network protocols like TCP/IP and HTTP and the understanding of what makes a RESTful API great
• Knowledge of proxy tools (Charles, Fiddler, Httpwatch)
• Experience building, deploying, and debugging Node.js applications
• Experience with distributed VCS (Git, SVN, Stash)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools
• Familiarity with Agile development process (Scrum, Kanban)
• Advanced AI Usage (Claude, Cursor, AI-assisted code generation and refactoring, Debugging and troubleshooting complex applications, technical documentation generation, architectural analysis and code reviews, test case creation and test automation support, functional and technical requirements decomposition)
• Strong expertise in Prompt Engineering for Claude, including advanced prompting techniques (Few-Shot, Chain-of-Thought, ReAct, Tree-of-Thought), context engineering, AI agent design, Claude Skills creation, MCP integrations, RAG architectures, prompt evaluation frameworks, and AI-assisted software development methodologies. Proven ability to build scalable, reusable, and production-ready AI workflows for modern software engineering teams
• Advanced Claude Ecosystem Expertise (Claude Projects, Artifacts, Skills, Plans, Code)
• Expertise in Spec-Driven Development (SDD), leveraging Claude Code and AI agents
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to operate as part of a cross-functional team, partnering closely with product, design, data, and other engineering functions to own outcomes end to end rather than just isolated tasks
• Experience with, or the proven ability to quickly adopt, AI-assisted development tools (such as Claude) to accelerate coding, code review, testing, documentation, and problem-solving, with sound judgement about when and how to rely on them
• Master’s degree in computer science (or related field) or equivalent professional experience combined with a Bachelor’s degree
• Curiosity, desire to learn and proactivity in finding solutions and improving the quality of work, with the adaptability to thrive in a changing, reorganising environment and the drive to take on new challenges
