Senior Full Stack Engineer
£70,000 - £85,000 + bonus + benefits

We're working with a fast-growing technology business that is investing heavily in its engineering function as it scales its platform and product offering.
They're looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a collaborative product engineering team, taking ownership of new feature development across both front-end and back-end systems. This role is particularly suited to someone with a strong React and TypeScript background who enjoys working across the full stack whilst building scalable Python services.
This is a fully remote opportunity offering a modern engineering environment, technical autonomy and the chance to work on high-impact products used by customers globally.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain modern web applications using React and TypeScript.
- Build and enhance backend services and APIs using Python
- Collaborate with Product, Design and Engineering teams to deliver customer-focused features.
- Contribute to technical design and architectural decisions.
- Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code.
- Participate in code reviews and champion engineering best practices.
- Improve application performance, scalability and reliability.
- Support CI/CD processes and cloud deployments.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development standards and processes.
- Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge sharing across the team.
Essential Skills
- Strong commercial experience as a Full Stack Engineer.
- Expert knowledge of React and TypeScript.
- Experience building large-scale front-end applications.
- Strong Python development experience.
- Experience designing and consuming React APIs.
- Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
- Strong understanding of modern software engineering principles.
- Experience with automated testing.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
