As we transition from Flutter to React Native with TypeScript, we are looking for an experienced engineer to play a key role in this process and contribute to a growing, fast-paced company environment.

Role Overview

We are seeking a talented engineer to play a key part in transitioning our front-end from Flutter to React Native. You’ll be responsible for rewriting the existing code, optimizing performance, and working on new features that will enhance the user experience, particularly through AI/ML-driven insights.

You will be part of a collaborative team and use your strong communication skills to work closely with colleagues across different areas of the business. This role offers the chance to contribute to both product development and the company culture within a dynamic startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the transition of our front-end from Flutter to React Native, ensuring smooth migration to a sustainable, high-quality codebase.
• Develop and implement responsive, scalable features in React Native and TypeScript.
• Assist in integrating innovative AI/ML features to enhance user experience.
• Focus on performance optimisation across various devices.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth API integrations and a cohesive user experience.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following industry best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in mobile app development with a focus on React Native and TypeScript.
• Significant experience with Git, and familiarity with best practices for version control.
• Significant experience with RESTful APIs and backend integration.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a commitment to writing maintainable, scalable code.
• Strong communication skills in fluent English language, and a proven track record of your ability to work both independently and collaboratively with multiple teams.

The following will be considered an advantage:

• Experience with Flutter and transitioning between mobile platforms.
• Experience developing or integrating AI/ML systems.
