About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Developer to join our dynamic team during an exciting transformation phase. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining and elevating the technical standards of our frontend ecosystem. Your primary focus will be on migrating existing Angular and mobile applications to modern React and React Native solutions, ensuring a smooth transition while establishing scalable frontend standards and best practices. You will work within an Agile Scrum squad dedicated to developing microservices and cutting-edge frontend applications that form the core of our SaaS platform. This position offers an excellent opportunity to lead modernization efforts, influence architectural decisions, and mentor junior developers, all while contributing to a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of frontend development experience, with at least 4 years working with React and React Native
- Proven experience leading React migration projects in complex or enterprise environments
- Strong expertise in frontend testing frameworks such as Jest and Playwright
- Hands-on experience with multi-application/monorepo architectures (Nx, Lerna, Yarn Workspaces)
- Experience in designing and maintaining design systems and reusable component libraries
- Proficiency with Storybook for component development and documentation
- Solid understanding of UX principles and user-centered design
- Proficiency in React state management patterns, including React Context
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Define and enforce frontend development standards across React and React Native applications
- Establish and oversee code review processes, architectural patterns, and quality guidelines
- Mentor frontend developers and promote engineering best practices within the team
- Lead the migration of applications to React and React Native, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum stability
- Implement incremental testing strategies to facilitate smooth migrations and reduce technical debt
- Maintain a test coverage target of at least 80%, incorporating unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
- Champion Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies
- Collaborate with Product and Design teams to enhance user experience, accessibility, and visual consistency
- Develop and maintain shared component libraries and design systems using Storybook
- Optimize monorepo architecture to support multiple applications, build shared libraries, and implement micro-frontend patterns
- Support progressive migration strategies utilizing the Strangler Fig pattern
- Ensure frontend performance optimization aligned with Core Web Vitals and bundle efficiency
- Work closely with backend engineers to design efficient API contracts and improve integration workflows
