Ediphi offers the most comprehensive cloud-based estimating and preconstruction solution on the market. Our goal is to reduce the time spent in preconstruction, enabling projects to break ground more quickly and estimators to feel more confident in their work. We started when Michael Navarro, an estimating pro at Suffolk, recognized the need for a better alternative to reliance on spreadsheets. He developed a solution built by estimators, for estimators, to streamline the preconstruction process. In collaboration with Dustin DeVan, the founder of BuildingConnected (acquired by Autodesk for $275 million), Ediphi was launched in 2023. Backed by a $12M Series A round led by Norwest Venture Partners and ongoing support from Suffolk Technologies, Ediphi continues to grow as a SaaS offering tailored for General Contractors across the United States.

About The Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join one of our collaborative, high-impact feature teams. Operating within a Trifecta model, you will work closely with a Product Manager and Designer to shape the team’s roadmap, foster engineering growth, and deliver high-quality software iteratively and purposefully. This role primarily focuses on frontend development with React, with a preference for fullstack or frontend-leaning skillsets, and involves working on our core estimating product, which is considered a fintech solution. The position offers an exciting opportunity to influence product development, mentor peers, and contribute to a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in frontend development or fullstack with a frontend-leaning focus
• Proficiency in React and Typescript
• Strong attention to detail and passion for quality
• Ability to balance accuracy with velocity in delivering reliable data
• Empathy for user experience and product quality
• Experience working within agile, collaborative teams
• Ability to thrive in a remote-first work environment

Nice To Have

• Proficiency in backend technologies such as Node.js, Postgres, and AWS
• Experience with Redux, Tanstack Query, or similar data management libraries

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers and product managers to develop end-to-end solutions
• Lead and contribute to technical discussions, ensuring diverse perspectives inform critical decisions
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and standards
• Mentor team members, sharing expertise and fostering their professional growth
• Help instill React best practices across the engineering team
• Participate in code reviews to provide constructive feedback and promote continuous improvement
• Contribute to a culture of technical excellence through automated testing, runtime instrumentation, and close collaboration with product and QA teams
