About The Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Full Stack Engineer to join our expanding IT team. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work on impactful projects that enhance our e-commerce platform and streamline internal operations. Reporting to the Full Stack Team Lead, the successful candidate will be involved in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance software solutions. The role requires a collaborative mindset, a passion for creating user-friendly interfaces, and the ability to build robust back-end systems. Our ideal candidate is eager to contribute to innovative solutions within a fun and supportive environment, while honing their skills across both front-end and back-end development. The position is open to individuals residing in specific states, with periodic travel to our headquarters in Melville, NY, for team meetings and events.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on full-stack development experience
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and responsive design principles
  • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
  • Strong back-end development skills with Java and frameworks like Spring Boot
  • Solid understanding of database design, RDBMS, and SQL
  • Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience working within Agile development methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and code quality skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities in a team environment
  • High proficiency in written and verbal English communication

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine project requirements aligned with business goals
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable and high-performance software applications
  • Create responsive, user-friendly front-end functionalities for our e-commerce platform
  • Support and enhance back-end APIs and services to ensure system robustness
  • Develop and improve internal tools and applications to optimize company operations
  • Ensure system reliability, optimize application performance, and implement best practices for scalability
  • Design and develop reusable, maintainable UI components and templates
  • Work closely with designers to ensure technical feasibility and adherence to UI/UX standards
  • Manage updates to promotional banners and site-wide templates to support marketing initiatives
  • Conduct code reviews, refactor existing codebases, and implement modern development practices
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in full-stack development
