About The Role The Fullstack Software Engineer (Special Projects Team) at Aeroflow Health is a remote, full-time position focused on developing high-performance, scalable fullstack applications within a dynamic and innovative environment. This role is integral to the company’s Special Projects team, which is tasked with solving complex, high-leverage challenges through modern, AI-accelerated solutions. The engineer will be responsible for designing and building microservices and applications that support internal and external stakeholders, including product teams, business units, and leadership. The role emphasizes rapid experimentation, responsible use of AI tooling, and contributing to a high-trust, autonomous culture that values craftsmanship and outcomes. The engineer will also support infrastructure development, CI/CD pipelines, and ensure the reliability of applications in high-volume production settings, all while maintaining a focus on quality, security, and compliance. Qualifications

  • 3+ years of fullstack engineering experience
  • Proficiency in React, TypeScript, and Node.js
  • Experience with Next.js is a plus
  • Proven ability to design and develop production-grade fullstack applications
  • Understanding of microservices architecture, particularly in serverless AWS environments
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, RDS, S3, and CloudFront
  • Experience supporting and troubleshooting high-volume production systems
  • Familiarity with Git, Jira, and system/network administration
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Pulumi, Terraform, or CloudFormation
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred (not mandatory)
  • Experience with AI-assisted coding tools like Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex is advantageous

Responsibilities

  • Architect, design, and develop scalable fullstack applications and microservices with a focus on maintainability and performance
  • Create modular, serverless microservices within a cloud-native AWS environment
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools responsibly to accelerate coding while ensuring quality and rigor
  • Participate in ideation sessions, rapid prototyping, and translating business challenges into technical solutions
  • Write clean, well-documented, and testable code, including unit and integration tests
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues with a high sense of ownership
  • Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines to facilitate fast and safe deployment cycles
  • Support and maintain infrastructure-as-code using tools such as sst.dev, Pulumi, or Terraform
  • Monitor and optimize applications in high-volume production environments
  • Stay current with emerging tools, AI workflows, and best engineering practices
  • Contribute to internal tooling, frameworks, and accelerators to improve team efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
