About The Role
As a member of the Mobile team, you will be instrumental in developing the next generation of decentralized finance trading applications. Your primary focus will be on our React Native mobile app, working closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, and Backend Engineering to deliver a fast, reliable, and intuitive trading experience for users. This role is suitable for a junior to mid-level engineer with a strong foundation in React and TypeScript who enjoys crafting high-quality mobile applications. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic environments, takes ownership of their work, and is passionate about solving real-world problems. Most importantly, you should be genuinely enthusiastic about building exceptional user experiences and excited by the potential of decentralized finance and blockchain technology.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript
- Hands-on experience developing mobile applications with React Native
- Solid understanding of iOS and Android platforms, including their differences and best practices
- Experience integrating applications with backend APIs
- Proficiency in Node.js
- Experience working with REST APIs
- Knowledge of gRPC and/or Server-Sent Events (SSE) is a plus
- Strong grasp of software engineering fundamentals and clean code principles
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Fluency in English
- Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
- Develop, maintain, and enhance features for the React Native mobile application
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend teams to ensure high-quality user experiences
- Build scalable, maintainable, and well-tested mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript
- Integrate mobile applications with backend APIs and services
- Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and stability across iOS and Android platforms
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues reported through project management tools such as Linear
- Take ownership of bug fixes and root cause analysis to ensure a reliable mobile experience
