The Opportunity

The Senior Full Stack Developer will work closely with stakeholders across the business to design, develop, and enhance a modern internal platform used by operational teams throughout the organisation.

The successful candidate will contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and technical design through to development, testing, deployment, and ongoing optimisation.

This role offers the opportunity to work with modern technologies within a collaborative Agile environment whilst having genuine influence over technical decisions and platform direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using C# and .NET technologies.
• Build modern, responsive user interfaces using React.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and technical design decisions.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and optimise SQL Server databases, including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance improvements.
• Support the ongoing development of a cloud-based application environment.
• Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and adherence to development best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues where required.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Identify opportunities to improve system performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Required Skills & Experience

• Commercial experience developing applications using C# and .NET/.NET Core.
• Strong experience building and consuming Web APIs.
• Commercial React development experience, including modern React features and component-based architecture.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience designing and working with SQL Server databases.
• Experience writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database optimisation.
• Experience working with RESTful services and API integrations.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies and Agile delivery practices.
• Experience using Git and modern version control practices.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable Skills

• Experience working with Microsoft Azure.
• Exposure to microservices architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with front-end build tools such as Vite.
• Experience working on internal workflow, case management, or operational platforms.
