Senior iOS Mobile Engineer
We're working with an AI-native software consultancy delivering innovative digital solutions for its clients. They're looking for a Senior iOS Mobile Engineer to take ownership of native mobile development, building secure, scalable and high-performing applications in a collaborative, fully remote environment.
A note to applicants, this will be working with their end client in the Gambling/iGaming sector.
Role Overview
- Location: Fully Remote, candidates must reside in the UK.
- Day Rate: £350- £450 per day | Outside IR35
- Contract Length: 6 months initially, with scope to extend
- Start Date: Urgent, need someone ASAP!

What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing, developing and maintaining high-quality native iOS applications using Swift.
- Collaborating with engineering, design and product teams to deliver seamless mobile experiences.
- Driving technical and architectural decisions to ensure applications are scalable, secure and maintainable.
- Integrating REST APIs and backend services, ensuring secure authentication and effective data handling.
- Optimising application performance, reliability and accessibility.
- Developing automated tests, conducting code reviews and contributing to smooth release processes.
- Taking ownership of technical delivery while communicating effectively with stakeholders across a remote team.
Main Skills Needed
- Strong commercial experience building and delivering native iOS applications.
- Excellent Swift development skills, with hands-on experience using SwiftUI and/or UIKit.
- Solid understanding of iOS architecture, automated testing, debugging and performance optimisation.
- Experience integrating REST APIs, implementing authentication and managing sensitive data securely.
- Confidence owning technical deliverables and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Essential: Experience within either a highly regulated industry (financial services, fintech, gambling, iGaming or healthcare) OR an AI-native/software consultancy delivering client solutions.
- Familiarity with mobile CI/CD pipelines, App Store deployment and release management would be beneficial.
- Exposure to AI-assisted development tools, security standards or compliance requirements would be advantageous.
