About the role

This employer is a technology company specializing in artificial intelligence and computer vision solutions for enterprise and government sectors. They are seeking a foundational Lead Product Designer to bridge the gap between complex machine learning prototypes and polished, production-ready software.

The Role

• Lead end-to-end product design for data-heavy applications, including spatial dashboards, maps, and agentic workflows.

• Act as a hands-on player-coach, guiding front-end contributors while actively contributing to design strategy and system architecture.

• Prototype directly in code to test interactive states, animations, and edge cases within the live application.

• Scale and govern an enterprise design system, managing design tokens, UI components, and cross-platform integration.

• Partner with researchers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate complex data pipelines into intuitive user experiences.

What You'll Need

• 5 to 7+ years of product design experience focused on complex B2B SaaS, spatial data, or AI-native products.

• Proficiency in the primary tech stack including Figma, React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and Storybook.

• Ability to work within government and defense contract parameters, requiring specific work authorization.

• Expertise in enterprise design systems, data visualization, and human-in-the-loop machine learning workflows.

What's On Offer

• Annual salary of $180,000 – $200,000 plus equity stock options.

• 100% employer-paid medical premiums for employees and their dependents.

• Comprehensive dental, vision, 401(k), and disability coverage.

• Flexible remote work options.
