About The Role

The Senior Full Stack Engineer at Diiirect Inc. will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable systems that support high-traffic applications. This position involves working across our Elixir and Go backend services and React-based frontend interfaces. The successful candidate will take ownership of critical services such as billing, identity management, and notifications, ensuring they are robust, efficient, and secure. Collaboration with cross-functional teams—including product managers, designers, and other engineers—is essential to deliver seamless user experiences and reliable backend functionalities. This role offers the flexibility of remote work within the United States, fostering a healthy work-life balance while maintaining high productivity standards.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should possess a strong background in full-stack development with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience. Proficiency in Elixir and Go for backend development is essential, along with extensive experience in building and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices. Frontend expertise in React.js is required, with a solid understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP, containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines is highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, a proactive approach to ownership, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent practical experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities
