About the Role
Talemexa Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled and motivated JavaScript Developer to join its growing technology team. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing modern web applications using JavaScript and related technologies. The role involves building interactive application features, writing clean and reusable code, integrating APIs, and ensuring the delivery of reliable and high-performing software solutions.
As a full-time remote team member, you will collaborate with frontend developers, backend engineers, UI/UX designers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and develop effective technical solutions.
The ideal candidate should have strong programming fundamentals, practical experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, and a good understanding of web development principles. A passion for problem-solving, attention to detail, and willingness to learn emerging technologies will be valuable in this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using JavaScript and modern development technologies.
- Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-documented code following established coding standards.
- Utilize modern JavaScript features and ES6+ standards to build scalable application functionality.
- Develop interactive and responsive user interfaces using frameworks such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Build and maintain server-side applications and backend functionality using Node.js when required.
- Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party services, and external data sources into web applications.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application bugs, technical issues, and performance bottlenecks.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and development planning sessions.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend developers to deliver seamless application experiences.
- Implement appropriate security practices and ensure application reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Perform application testing, debugging, and validation to maintain software quality.
- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
- Stay updated with JavaScript ecosystem developments, frameworks, libraries, and industry best practices.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Approximately 2–5 years of professional experience in JavaScript development or web application development.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript, ES6+, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Hands-on experience with at least one modern frontend framework, such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Knowledge of Node.js and Express.js is an added advantage.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with JSON data.
- Familiarity with Git and other version control systems.
- Good understanding of asynchronous programming, promises, callbacks, and debugging techniques.
- Knowledge of responsive web development and browser compatibility.
- Ability to develop maintainable code and troubleshoot complex technical problems.
- Strong analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
