About the Opportunity:
The SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER, FULLSTACK (APP EXPERIENCE) plays a key role in advancing the front-end user experience across mobile and web technologies. This position involves leading cross-team projects and collaborating with product and engineering teams to deliver impactful features that enhance customer engagement. The role contributes significantly to the stability, scalability, and evolution of the app and marketplace experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Break down complex projects into manageable tasks and deliver in phases
- Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics during product development
- Articulate technical constraints and participate in decision-making considering risks and trade-offs
- Monitor system metrics and support operational stability including on-call duties
- Engage in team development activities such as interviewing and mentoring peers
Requirements:
- 1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer
- Experience shipping web apps using declarative UI frameworks like React or Vue
- Experience shipping mobile apps using native or cross-platform languages like React Native
- Experience designing, developing, and launching scalable APIs using Kotlin or Python
- Ability to develop solutions integrating multiple software components with clean, testable code
- Comfortable navigating large codebases, debugging, and conducting code reviews
- Demonstrated ownership of personal growth and proactive feedback seeking
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- USA base pay range (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT) per year: $195,000 - $255,000
- USA base pay range (all other U.S. states) per year: $173,000 - $233,000
- Base pay grade: N
- Equity grade: 9
