Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to contribute to the development and enhancement of modern digital platforms supporting health, wellness, and consumer engagement.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in JavaScript-based application development, experience building scalable backend services, and hands-on expertise in web and mobile technologies. This role involves working across the complete software development lifecycle while collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and enhance full-stack applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
- Build and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native for iOS and Android.
- Develop scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, GraphQL integrations, and microservices.
- Create responsive, accessible, and high-performance web and mobile interfaces.
- Develop and deploy cloud-native applications leveraging AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, RDS, and S3.
- Work with relational databases and caching technologies to improve application performance.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineering teams to deliver new features.
- Troubleshoot application issues, optimize performance, and ensure system reliability.
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD implementation.
- Contribute to engineering best practices, technical documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Required Qualifications:
- 7–10+ years of professional software development experience.
- Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Strong hands-on experience with React.js and modern frontend development.
- Proven experience developing mobile applications using React Native for iOS and Android.
- Strong backend development experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, and microservices.
- Experience with event-driven architecture and distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native application development.
- Experience working with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar relational databases.
- Familiarity with Redis or other caching solutions.
- Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized applications.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern DevOps practices.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability, security, and performance optimization.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to Scala or Java.
- Experience developing consumer-facing applications with large user bases.
- Previous experience in healthcare, digital health, fitness, or wellness platforms.
- Experience with highly available and distributed backend systems.
