Role: Sr Java Full Stack Tech Lead with AWS

Seeking a Senior hands-on Java Full Stack Technical Lead with 8+ years of experience to lead cloud-native application development using Java/Spring Boot, React/TypeScript, AWS, microservices, Kubernetes and AWS CDK.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performing full-stack applications.
Drive end-to-end technical delivery using Java, Spring Boot, React, TypeScript, and AWS cloud services.
Design, build, and maintain cloud-native microservices and event-driven architectures.
Provision and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, including AWS CDK.
Provide technical leadership across application development, cloud engineering, DevOps, and deployment activities.
Collaborate closely with product owners, business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Lead technical discussions, solution reviews, design decisions, and implementation strategies.
Establish and enforce engineering best practices, coding standards, security guidelines, and performance optimization techniques.
Mentor and coach engineers, fostering technical growth and building a high-performing engineering culture.
Drive Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, code reviews, and release management activities.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and guide teams toward effective resolutions.

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of software engineering experience with at least 2+ years in a technical leadership role.
Strong hands-on expertise in:
Java 11+/17
Spring Boot & Microservices
React.js
TypeScript
RESTful APIs
AWS Cloud Services
Extensive experience with:
AWS ECS/EKS
DynamoDB
Lambda
S3
CloudWatch
AWS CDK
Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.).
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, security, and performance engineering.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven stakeholder engagement capabilities.
Demonstrated ability to lead geographically distributed teams and collaborate across multiple functions.
