About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Staff Software Engineer to provide technical leadership and serve as a front-end architecture anchor across our web applications. You’ll lead delivery for a core product while helping establish consistent standards, architectures, and engineering practices across the broader front-end ecosystem.
This role combines hands-on software development with technical leadership. You’ll work across teams to build scalable web applications, shape front-end architecture, mentor engineers, and improve developer productivity through modern engineering practices and AI-assisted development tools.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, build, and deliver scalable, enterprise-grade web applications using React and TypeScript
• Architect reusable component libraries, design systems, and front-end frameworks
• Establish standards and best practices for performance, accessibility, testing, state management, and application architecture
• Provide hands-on technical leadership across multiple engineering teams
• Mentor engineers and support their technical growth
• Influence architectural decisions and guide front-end engineering practices
• Partner with Product, UX, QA, DevOps, and Platform teams to deliver high-quality user experiences
• Drive delivery for a core product while contributing to broader front-end architecture
• Use GenAI and Agentic AI tools to improve developer productivity and accelerate software delivery
• Apply modern engineering workflows and AI-assisted development practices while maintaining strong engineering standards
Required Qualifications
• 8+ years of front-end engineering experience
• Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience building large-scale web applications
• Experience designing reusable component architectures, component libraries, and design systems
• Strong understanding of front-end performance optimization
• Strong understanding of accessibility, including WCAG
• Experience with responsive design and modern front-end development patterns
• Proven ability to influence architecture and make technical decisions across teams
• Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership through hands-on execution
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering workflows
