About the Company

Figma builds a collaborative design platform that helps teams turn ideas into products. Its tools support brainstorming, prototyping, translating designs into code, and improving workflows with AI. By bringing people together to create and collaborate in real time, Figma helps organizations of all sizes move from early concepts to finished products.

About the Role

Figma is hiring experienced Full-Stack Software Engineers to join its Growth and Monetization Engineering organization. This organization includes teams focused on Growth, Billing, Enterprise, and Discovery, each working on different aspects of the product experience and business operations.

Depending on the team, you may work on global billing infrastructure, secure enterprise access, product discovery, work organization, or product-led growth and monetization. You will build and maintain reliable, secure, and intuitive systems while collaborating with partners across the company to support Figma’s growth and evolving product needs.

This is a full-time position based at a Figma hub in the United States or available remotely within the United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and release high-quality full-stack features using technologies such as TypeScript, React, Ruby, Go, C++, and others.
  • Own product components that influence user experience, internal productivity, or revenue operations.
  • Work with product, design, data science, support, and sales teams to shape product direction and solve complex technical challenges.
  • Monitor and maintain the systems you build, prioritizing reliability, security, performance, and user experience.
  • Mentor teammates, share constructive feedback, and contribute to a collaborative and inclusive engineering culture.
  • Help build scalable systems that support collaboration across Figma’s product suite and serve customers ranging from startups to large enterprises.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, including delivering and maintaining complex systems or products in production.
  • Full-stack development experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React and TypeScript, along with back-end technologies such as Ruby, Python, Go, or PostgreSQL.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with B2B SaaS, billing or payments infrastructure, developer platforms, or enterprise-scale systems.
  • Familiarity with technologies such as Stripe, Salesforce, NetSuite, Snowflake, SCIM, SAML, or WebAssembly.
  • Experience with experimentation, observability, compliance automation, or internal tools development.
  • Experience building extensibility platforms, including plugins, APIs, or widgets, or contributing to open-source developer communities.
  • An interest in creating excellent developer or user experiences and designing maintainable, well-structured systems.
  • A willingness to learn, mentor colleagues, lead initiatives, and share knowledge through code reviews or pairing sessions.

Figma values curiosity and continuous learning. Candidates are encouraged to apply even if their experience does not match every listed qualification, as their background may be a fit for this or another role.

Salary and Benefits

For positions based in Figma’s San Francisco or New York hub offices, the annual base salary range is $153,000–$376,000 USD. The final offer and job level depend on factors such as relevant skills, experience, expected impact, role scope, market conditions, and work location.

For remote positions, the salary range is adjusted based on employee location, using a factor between 80% and 100% of the listed range. Candidates should discuss location-specific compensation with their recruiter. The stated range is a guideline and may be revised.

Figma offers equity and a benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision coverage; retirement benefits with company contributions; parental leave and reproductive or family planning support; mental health and wellness benefits; generous paid time off; company recharge days; learning and development funding; a work-from-home stipend; and cell phone reimbursement. Eligible non-sales employees may receive an annual bonus, while most sales roles offer sales incentive pay. Compensation and benefits may change over time.

Work Arrangement and Hiring Requirements

  • This full-time role is available remotely within the United States or from one of Figma’s US hub offices.
