Job summary:
A Senior Frontend Engineer position working across our virtual try-on technology, combining advanced AI and physics-based garment simulation, alongside new and experimental product development.
We're looking for someone who combines deep technical understanding, strong problem-solving ability and exceptional design instincts. An engineer who cares as much about how a product looks, feels and behaves as they do about the quality of the underlying engineering.
You'll work across customer-facing experiences, internal tools and new product initiatives, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to turn complex technology and ambitious ideas into intuitive, beautifully executed products.
We're particularly interested in engineers who embrace AI-native development, using coding agents, automation and modern tooling to move quickly, experiment and deliver exceptional work.
Day to day:
- Build and experiment: Work across established products and new initiatives, rapidly prototyping ideas and turning promising concepts into production-ready experiences.
- Craft exceptional experiences: Combine technical engineering with strong design sensibilities to create interfaces that are intuitive, polished and genuinely enjoyable to use.
- Work AI-natively: Use coding agents and AI-assisted workflows throughout development, from prototyping and implementation to debugging, testing and optimisation.
- Solve complex problems: Work on interactive experiences involving AI, simulation, complex data and computationally intensive technologies.
- Collaborate across disciplines: Work closely with product, design, AI, simulation and platform engineers to explore ideas and bring them to life.
- Deliver high-quality software: Build reliable, performant and maintainable products, knowing when to move quickly and when deeper engineering rigour is needed.
Requirements:
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, with the technical depth to understand, debug and improve complex systems.
- Demonstrable experience building sophisticated, high-quality web products, regardless of the specific frameworks used.
- Exceptional design instincts, with a strong understanding of visual quality, usability, interaction and how products should feel.
- Practical experience using AI coding agents and automated development workflows to deliver software effectively.
- Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated code, identify architectural issues and maintain performance, reliability and quality.
- Experience taking ideas from early prototypes through to polished, production-ready products.
- Strong product judgement, independent problem-solving ability and a pragmatic approach to engineering.
Desirable experience:
- TypeScript, React and modern frontend frameworks.
- Creative coding, interactive graphics, WebGL, Three.js or related technologies.
- Building products involving AI, simulation, computer vision or real-time systems.
- Shopify, e-commerce platforms or embedded web experiences.
- Developing custom coding agents, automated engineering workflows or AI-powered tooling.
- Experience in early-stage startups or experimental product development.
